E*TRADE Financial is looking for a seasoned and talented Manager, Product Management with expertise in bringing superior customer experiences to market. This role supports the Institutional product team, specifically focused on expanding E*TRADE product offerings and platform to registered financial advisors. The ideal candidate should have experience developing product strategy, building roadmaps, and high-level requirements to meet any set goals. In addition, the candidate should respond well to change and quickly pick up new concepts. Successful candidates will also possess a strong working knowledge of brokerage competitor capabilities, industry trends, and customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Influence roadmap definition for emerging channels through industry/competitive analysis, data insights, feedback analysis, and client understanding
• Partner with key stakeholders - notably Sales, Operations, Customer Service and external strategic partners to support strategic goals and business initiatives
• Provide thought leadership on client experience, features, and emerging technology
• Contribute to business justification for key new features including customer needs, business case, and competitive landscape
• Provide subject matter expertise to help define and translate business decisions into technology solutions.
• Identify potential external strategic partners as well as strengthen relationships with existing strategic partners

REQUIREMENTS

Basic

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with strong supporting skills in client facing products and API-based digital experiences
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred

• MBA
• Knowledge of financial products
• Experience working in the brokerage industry
• Superior analytical, interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and technical), presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to effectively manage business objectives
• Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, team player, and organized
• Series 7 securities industry license preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to be a subject matter expert in a product, service related to financial services industry
• Experience gathering client feedback and translating into product enhancements.
• Proven track-record managing multiple tasks, with demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional results under tight timelines.
• Highly self-motivated and directed professional, with keen attention to detail
• Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong customer service and solution-focused orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to effectively manage business objectives.

• Limited travel may be required.
